Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the HR Recruiter manages daily hiring activities and candidates through the hiring process. The position includes job posting development, screening, interviewing, reference checking, testing, and scheduling. It also requires consultative communication with hiring managers and candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Modify and draft job postings for current hiring needs
- Source, screen, interview, and test candidates throughout recruitment
- Manage offers, onboarding, and background or reference checks
- Build candidate pipelines supporting fundamental business operations
- Develop strategies attracting and retaining HPG/Trimaster staff
Requirements:
- Five to seven years of recruitment experience
- Experience with data entry and data management
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Microsoft Office Suite, email, and Internet proficiency
- Some travel to other locations in Guelph, Ontario
