Lead PPG production operations on the midnight shift using manufacturing leadership, quality control, and workforce coordination skills. Work Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM.
As Line Leader, you oversee assigned-shift production activities and report to the Production Manager. You coordinate staffing, coach employees, monitor performance, and maintain process control. The position supports safe, efficient operations while meeting quality, productivity, and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead line startup, shutdown, breaks, and staffing assignments
- Coach and evaluate production team members
- Monitor productivity, quality, and workforce utilization
- Maintain production, quality, and productivity records
- Promote continuous improvement and workplace safety
Requirements:
- Demonstrated manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience
- Knowledge of TS 16949, IATF 16949, ISO, or quality systems
- Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
- Familiarity with labor management and performance metrics
- Proficiency in production reporting and workforce scheduling
