The Mechanical Engineer will participate in all phases of product development, including design, analysis, technical documentation, procurement support, testing, and field deployment activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the mechanical design and development of hydrogen fueling equipment and infrastructure systems.
  • Prepare and revise engineering drawings, 3D models, bills of materials, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Perform selection and integration of mechanical components, piping systems, instrumentation, and process equipment for systems operating up to 15,000 psi.
  • Perform engineering calculations related to pressure systems, piping, fluid flow, thermodynamics, structural supports, and equipment sizing.
  • Develop and maintain Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), and engineering documentation packages.
  • Participate in system design reviews, hazard assessments (HAZOP), and risk analysis activities.
  • Conduct testing and validation activities for prototypes and production systems.
  • Investigate equipment and system issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
