This Accounts Payable Specialist supports a publicly traded renewable energy company specializing in solar energy and battery storage projects. The role processes invoices across multiple legal entities and currencies. It also supports payments, vendor management, financial close, audits, and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process invoices from receipt through payment
- Verify documentation, coding, approvals, and vendor records
- Prepare weekly payment runs and supporting schedules
- Reconcile vendor statements, subledgers, and general ledger balances
- Support financial close, audits, and AP automation
Requirements:
- Minimum five years of full-cycle accounts payable experience
- Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related diploma or degree
- Knowledge of coding, accruals, and AP reconciliations
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
- Experience with accounting software or ERP systems
