Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Site Supervisor. The Site Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects in the Greater Toronto Area, Barrie and Peterborough areas.
- Ensure project compliance with plans and specifications.
- Coordinate subcontractors and trades.
- Conduct regular site inspections.
- Monitor safety protocols.
- Schedule tasks.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in project management and site supervision.
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and health and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Attention to detail and quality.
- Proficiency in computer software (Microsoft project, etc.).
- Experience with Procore management software is an asset.
- Full knowledge of site health and safety requirements.
- Degree or diploma in construction management or related field (preferred).
- Certifications in construction safety and project management (preferred).
