What you'll do
- Manage small claims litigation files
- Draft pleadings and legal correspondence
- Prepare clients for hearings
- Review documentary evidence
- Conduct legal research
- Communicate with opposing parties
- Manage filing and procedural deadlines
- Assist with settlement negotiations
What we're looking for
- Ontario paralegal licence
- Litigation experience
- Knowledge of Small Claims Court procedures
- Strong legal drafting skills
- Excellent client communication
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage independent files
- Courtroom confidence
