Build stockroom and inventory experience at Johnson Electric as an onsite Co-op Student in Ancaster, Ontario, using CMS, EAM, and Microsoft Office.
This 8 to 12 month student placement reports to the Maintenance Manager. You will support receiving, issuing, recording, inventory counts, supplier shipments, and stockroom process improvements. The position suits students studying Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Distribution, or a related field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive parts and materials into CMS and EAM systems
- Verify shipments and place products in designated locations
- Issue and record parts for internal customers
- Perform physical and cycle inventory counts
- Document processes and recommend stockroom improvements
Requirements:
- Enrollment in a related post-secondary program
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Ability to work independently and within teams
- Accuracy under deadline pressures; standing, walking, and light lifting required
