You will apply advanced 3D CAD, solid mechanics, material science, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics. The role supports critical research and development efforts through analytical validation and prototype testing. Key Responsibilities:
Lead novel component and mechanical system design using advanced three-dimensional CAD Perform stress, strain, thermal, and vibration analyses with FEA and CFD Optimize designs for performance, durability, and manufacturability Create manufacturing drawings, specifications, and Bills of Materials Guide prototype testing and validate designs through analytical methods Requirements:
Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field Minimum seven years of progressive mechanical design and analysis experience Expertise with SolidWorks, CATIA, Siemens NX, ANSYS, Abaqus, or Star-CCM+ Knowledge of solid mechanics, material science, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics Ability to interpret simulations and translate results into improvements Apply advanced CAD, FEA, CFD, and materials knowledge to develop validated mechanical systems through remote engineering work.
