About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Insurance Broker to join their established brokerage in Kimberley . This role requires building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their diverse insurance needs, and providing expert advice and solutions across various insurance lines. You will be responsible for sourcing the best policies from different insurers, negotiating terms, and ensuring client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional sales acumen, in-depth knowledge of the insurance market, and a commitment to providing outstanding service to clients in the Northern Cape .
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a portfolio of clients, providing tailored insurance advice and solutions.
- Assess client risks and recommend appropriate insurance products (e.g., life, short-term, commercial).
- Source competitive quotes from various insurance providers and present options to clients.
- Negotiate policy terms, conditions, and premiums on behalf of clients.
- Handle policy renewals, endorsements, and claims support efficiently.
- Stay updated on market changes, new products, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- A relevant insurance qualification (e.g., FAIS accreditation) and a minimum of 5 years of experience as an Insurance Broker .
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building a strong client base.
- In-depth knowledge of a wide range of insurance products and the insurance market.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using brokerage management systems and standard office software.
- Strong understanding of the financial services landscape in Kimberley .
