This strategic role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in managing complex construction sites, leading multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for all aspects of site management, including planning, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder coordination. region. We are looking for a results-driven individual with exceptional leadership and problem-solving capabilities. Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage all construction site activities in
Kimberley , ensuring efficient and safe operations. Develop and implement detailed site execution plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies. Lead, mentor, and manage site teams, including foremen, supervisors, and subcontractors. Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, environmental, and quality (HSEQ) standards and regulations. Monitor project progress against the master programme, identifying deviations and implementing corrective actions. Manage site logistics, including material procurement, storage, and equipment deployment. Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, local authorities, and other stakeholders. Control project costs at the site level, manage variations, and ensure accurate reporting. Conduct regular site inspections, progress meetings, and risk assessments. Foster a collaborative and productive site environment focused on safety and quality. Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in construction site management, with a strong track record on major projects. Proven experience managing sites with budgets exceeding R50 million. In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, project planning, and scheduling techniques. Strong understanding of contract administration and HSEQ principles within the
South African
context. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6). Ability to make critical decisions under pressure and manage complex challenges. Relevant professional accreditation (e.g., SACPCMP) is highly desirable. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the
Northern Cape
