About the Role

Develop and manage comprehensive certification plans for aircraft systems, components, and modifications. Ensure compliance with all relevant national and international aviation regulations (e.g., SA-CATS, EASA, FAA). Prepare and submit certification documentation, including type certification basis, conformity statements, and test reports. Coordinate and oversee ground and flight testing activities to demonstrate compliance. Liaise directly with aviation authorities (e.g., SACAA) to facilitate the certification process. Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in aircraft certification, airworthiness, or regulatory compliance. In-depth knowledge of aviation certification processes and regulatory frameworks. Proven experience preparing and submitting certification documentation for aircraft systems or components. Strong understanding of aircraft design, manufacturing, and testing principles. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively with regulatory bodies.
