South Africa . Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines for automated software deployment and infrastructure provisioning. Develop and maintain scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Implement and manage containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes. Automate system administration tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible). Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure maximum uptime and reliability. Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to optimize the software development lifecycle. Implement and manage security best practices within the cloud infrastructure. Contribute to architectural decisions related to cloud strategy and DevOps practices. Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps culture and best practices within the organization. Manage logging, monitoring, and alerting systems. Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Minimum of 7 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or a related infrastructure engineering role. Proven expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their services. Strong experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go. Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. Deep understanding of CI/CD principles and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI). Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack). Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fully remote, collaborative team. Benefits
