About the Role
Our client is a fast-growing e-commerce platform seeking an experienced and adaptable Regional Operations Lead to manage and optimize their operations across a designated geographical area. This is a fully remote, strategic role focused on ensuring the seamless execution of logistics, customer service, and fulfillment processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of e-commerce operations, supply chain management, and process optimization, coupled with excellent leadership and analytical skills. You will be responsible for driving operational efficiency, maintaining high customer satisfaction levels, and implementing innovative solutions to support rapid growth. Oversee and optimize all operational activities within the assigned region, including logistics, warehousing, inventory management, and last-mile delivery. Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve delivery times. Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and other operational partners. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for operations, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Ensure adherence to company standards for quality, safety, and customer service. Lead and support a distributed team of operational staff and coordinate with cross-functional departments. Identify and implement process improvements and innovative solutions to streamline operations and enhance customer experience. Manage operational budgets and resources effectively within the region. Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies in e-commerce operations. Proactively identify and mitigate operational risks and challenges in a remote operational structure. Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of 7-9 years of progressive experience in operations management, with a strong focus on e-commerce, logistics, or supply chain. Demonstrated success in optimizing operational processes, managing distributed teams, and achieving key performance metrics. Proficiency in e-commerce operational platforms, WMS, TMS, and data analytics tools. Strong understanding of logistics networks, inventory control, and fulfillment strategies. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, essential for remote collaboration. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, remote environment. Experience in developing and managing operational budgets. Benefits
