About the Role
Our client, a leading investment fund specializing in real estate, is actively seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Real Estate Investment Strategist to join their team in Kimberley, Northern Cape . This pivotal role involves developing and refining the firm's investment strategies, identifying macro and micro market trends, and conducting deep-dive analyses to inform portfolio allocation and asset selection. You will collaborate closely with the acquisitions and portfolio management teams to ensure strategic alignment and optimal investment performance. Develop and articulate long-term investment strategies for the real estate portfolio, considering market dynamics and economic forecasts. Conduct extensive research on global, national, and regional real estate market trends, identifying key drivers and risks. Analyze macroeconomic factors and their impact on real estate asset classes and investment returns. Evaluate potential investment opportunities and recommend strategic allocations across different property types and geographies. Develop sophisticated financial models to assess portfolio performance and forecast future returns. Collaborate with acquisitions teams to provide strategic input on potential deals. Prepare insightful presentations and reports for senior management, the investment committee, and external stakeholders. Monitor the competitive landscape and advise on strategic positioning. Requirements
A Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related quantitative field. A minimum of 7 years of experience in investment strategy, real estate investment, portfolio management, or economic analysis. Proven ability to develop and implement successful investment strategies. Deep understanding of financial markets, investment principles, and real estate economics. Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, statistical analysis, and data visualization tools. Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
