About the Role
Our client is searching for a strategic Procurement Specialist with a focus on logistics services to join their team in a fully remote capacity. You will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing contracts with transportation providers, warehousing services, and other logistics vendors. This role requires a strong understanding of the logistics market, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to drive cost savings and improve service levels through effective procurement strategies. You will play a vital role in optimizing our supply chain by securing the best possible terms and conditions from our partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and source potential suppliers for logistics services, including freight, warehousing, and distribution.
- Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs) with vendors.
- Manage existing vendor relationships, ensuring performance and compliance.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist , preferably with a focus on logistics or supply chain.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the logistics and transportation market.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote work environment .
