A prestigious corporate catering firm in Kimberley is seeking an experienced and polished Corporate Event Catering Manager to oversee the planning and execution of high-profile corporate events. Manage the end-to-end planning and execution of corporate catering events. Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with corporate clients. Conduct client consultations to understand their specific needs, objectives, and brand identity. Create customized proposals, menus, and event designs that align with client expectations and budgets. Oversee event budgets, ensuring financial targets are met and profitability is maximized. Liaise closely with the culinary team to develop menus that are innovative, high-quality, and suitable for corporate settings. Coordinate with service staff, venue managers, and external suppliers to ensure seamless event logistics. Manage on-site event operations, providing leadership and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. Address and resolve any client concerns or operational challenges with professionalism and efficiency. Conduct post-event analysis and debriefings to measure success and identify areas for improvement. Requirements
A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in event management, catering management, or sales within the corporate events sector. Proven track record of successfully managing high-value corporate events and client accounts. Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strong negotiation and budgeting skills. Proficiency in event planning software and Microsoft Office Suite. A comprehensive understanding of corporate dining trends, etiquette, and client expectations. Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure, managing multiple complex events simultaneously. A proactive, solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as dictated by event schedules in Kimberley.
