The Concrete Worker & Driver is a full-time, on-site role based in Calgary, AB.
This position involves preparing and installing concrete for flatwork and other structural projects, including setting up and stripping formwork, placing and finishing concrete, and assisting with carpentry-related tasks as required.
The role also includes operating equipment, working professionally with colleagues and the public, and driving company vehicles to run errands from time to time.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year prior experience in concrete, construction, or other specific trade, including with the use of typical common tools (skill saws, reciprocating saws, drills, etc.) ( required ).
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions ( required ).
- Your own reliable vehicle ( required ).
- Valid Class 5, non-GDL
Alberta driver's license and a clean driving abstract (for driving company vehicles) ( required ).
- Prior experience driving 1/2 tonne (or heavier) trucks with or without trailers attached ( strongly preferred ).
- Relevant certifications such as First Aid and CSTS ( strongly preferred ).
