This Procurement Lead owns the complete indirect cycle, from stakeholder demand clarification through sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and SAP transaction execution. Categories include MRO, capital equipment, engineering and facility services, laboratory supplies, IT, logistics, and professional services. The work combines category planning with requisition-to-purchase-order execution, supplier management, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build category profiles, sourcing plans, and tracked savings pipelines
- Run RFI, RFQ, and RFP events with stakeholders
- Negotiate terms, service levels, warranties, and total cost
- Process requisitions and purchase orders accurately in SAP
- Resolve PO, GRN, and invoice matching exceptions
Requirements:
- Strong analytical judgment and structured problem-solving ability
- Experience managing indirect spend categories and supplier fragmentation
- Ability to structure SAP purchasing data and recurring dashboards
- Understanding of contracts, compliance documentation, and audit-ready records
- Knowledge of trade compliance, tariff codes, and Incoterms
