Lead demand planning and inventory optimization for Pet Valu in Markham, Ontario, using advanced analytics and supply chain expertise. This full-time permanent position is hybrid. As Demand Planning Manager, you will guide forecasting across Pet Valu’s North American stores and distribution centres. The role focuses on statistical modeling, forecast accuracy, inventory planning, and cross-functional collaboration. You will support national and private branded Hardlines and Specialty products, including Chico. Key Responsibilities:
Manage, develop, mentor, and recruit Demand Planning Analysts Align inventory planning with demand and service level targets Review sales trends, demand drivers, models, and forecast results Oversee forecast accuracy analysis and continuous improvement Partner with Merchandising, Replenishment, vendors, and business teams Requirements:
Five to seven years of progressive supply chain experience Demand planning experience within a national retail network Advanced Excel, Microsoft 365, Word, and PowerPoint skills Experience leading teams and communicating across functions Retail experience required; pet products experience ideal Bring demand planning leadership, statistical forecasting, and inventory optimization expertise to Pet Valu’s growing Supply Chain team.
