Manage cash positions and forecasts as a Treasury Analyst with Pet Valu in a hybrid Markham, Ontario work setting. Apply advanced Excel daily.
Reporting to the Manager, Treasury, you will support cash management, bank account management, month-end reconciliations, and cash flow forecasting. Pet Valu operates more than 800 stores across Canada under several banners, including Pet Valu, Bosley's, Total Pet, Paulmac's Pet, Tisol, and Chico.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and report daily cash positions
- Assist with cash flow forecast preparation and analysis
- Manage USD balances and recommend necessary purchases
- Complete bank account and general ledger reconciliations
- Prepare and upload month-end journal entries and accruals
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- At least two years of Treasury experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Advanced Excel and Word knowledge
- Microsoft Dynamics NAV knowledge is an asset
