This Veterinarian position requires at least two years of post-graduate clinic experience. You will provide preventative care, routine dentistry, surgery, and compassionate patient care. The role emphasizes trusted communication with pet parents and collaboration with RVTs and the support team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage approximately 10 appointments per shift with necessary flexibility
- Provide vaccinations, parasite prevention, nutrition, screening, and wellness planning
- Monitor senior pets and manage chronic conditions
- Perform routine dental care and identify follow-up treatment
- Complete spay, neuter, laceration, hernia, enucleation, and orthopedic surgeries
Requirements:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree
- Canadian veterinary licensure or eligibility for full licensure
- At least two years of post-graduate clinic experience
- Availability four days weekly with no weekends
- Strong diagnostic, surgical, dental, and communication skills
