As a backend engineer on the API Platform team, you will design, implement, and operate mission-critical interfaces. Your work spans distributed systems, API gateways, routing, performance optimization, and agent orchestration. You will help define technical strategy as customer and compute demands grow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and operate APIs delivering building blocks for frontier intelligence
- Evolve gateway authentication, authorization, quotas, and request routing
- Optimize upstream systems for low latency and high throughput
- Operate SLOs, on-call responsibilities, and incident response
- Collaborate on compute, networking, secrets, and security
