This infrastructure-focused engineering role centers on the platform layers behind Perplexity's APIs. You will build and operate gateways, reverse proxies, and routing systems while improving reliability, throughput, and observability. The work includes distributed systems, security, rate limiting, quotas, and heterogeneous upstream services. Key Responsibilities:
