As an early-career Associate Accountant, you will support North America Accounting operations within Corby Spirit and Wine Limited and Hiram Walker & Sons Ltd.
Your work will include transactional accounting, intercompany processes, reporting, compliance, and technical development.
You will partner with colleagues across the business while pursuing professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Support monthly close for statutory and management general ledgers
- Complete intercompany and balance sheet account reconciliations
- Record billings, purchases, and inventory accounting transactions
- Prepare reporting packages for Pernod Ricard
- Investigate invoice discrepancies and support tax filings
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- One to three years of similar accounting experience
- Interest in pursuing Canadian CPA designation
- Knowledge of accounting processes, controls, and IFRS principles
- Microsoft Office proficiency; JD Edwards experience is an asset
