This position supports quality healthcare delivery, patient safety, and established performance measures. Academic responsibilities include teaching, case conferences, and educational activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sign out a wide range of Diagnostic Pathology cases
- Maintain high standards of diagnostic practice
- Deliver services promptly against established performance indicators
- Teach and participate in case conferences
- Support quality assurance and improvement programs
Requirements:
- Licensed physician or eligible for Ontario licensure
- Royal College certification in Anatomic or General Pathology
- University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine academic appointment eligibility
- Experience in general surgical pathology and cytology
- Commitment to patient safety and continuing medical education
