The work includes pumping, ventilation, temporary electrical, communications, and construction support. Candidates need underground service crew experience, safety focus, and a valid driver's license. Work includes 12-hour shifts, days and nights, camp conditions, and extreme weather.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair underground service systems
- Handle air, water, pump lines, ventilation, and cables
- Install grout, plates, and tension cable bolts
- Install and remove underground communication equipment
- Support ventilation, concrete, plumbing, and pump construction
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two to three years of underground service crew experience
- Valid driver's license; manual experience is an asset
- Follow mine safety rules, procedures, PPE, and instructions
- Communicate effectively and manage assigned workload
