Frito Lay (a division of Pepsi Co) has a current opening for a Licensed Class 1 Driver.

- This position will be based out of Lethbridge, AB and will be required to work a combination of 2-day and 3-day over-the-road runs through Western Canada each week.
The assigned runs will be dependent on current business needs.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to)
- Operate a tractor/trailer truck to make long-distance pick-ups and deliveries of our finished products.
- Check and assist in the unloading of the trailer.
- Fully inspect the vehicle prior to beginning the route to ensure proper and safe handling conditions.
- Collect all proper authorizations prior to beginning route.
- Maintain an accurate DOT log.
- Ensure safety and compliance of load.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Completing Quality/Food Safety training and adhering to the Food Safety Pre Requisite Programs (PRP/o PRP) that is required for your area.
- Delivery of product to Frito Lay facilities and external customers in Western Canada with single or Long Combination vehicles (LCV’s).
- Offloading trailers with hand carts or palletizing cases at destination (average case weight is 4 kgs).
- Travelling safely complying with Frito Lay Canada controls, Traffic Safety legislation, and Commercial Vehicle regulations.
- Be customer focused and be a team player.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 Driver’s License.
- 2years Class 1 driving experience.
- Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able tomaintainprofessional disposition even when faced withdifficult situations.
- Able to complete routes safely in varied driving conditions.
- Mountain driving experience would be considered an asset.
- Be based out of Lethbridge, AB or willing to relocate.
