As a Fashion Designer, you will help evolve PENN. Penningtons through a distinct creative perspective and customer understanding. You will interpret fashion, cultural and consumer influences through the brand lens. Your work spans concepts, silhouettes, colour, fabrics, fittings and final collection execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design seasonal assortments reflecting PENN. direction and customer objectives
- Translate trends into silhouettes, colours, fabrics and design details
- Develop sketches, garment concepts and design packages
- Contribute design perspective during fittings and collection reviews
- Partner with Merchandising on creative and commercial priorities
Requirements:
- Fashion Design degree or diploma in a related field
- Three to five years of relevant fashion design experience
- Strong understanding of fit, proportion, silhouette, colour and fabric
- Experience creating concepts, packages and presentation materials
- French and English bilingualism for regular partner communication
