As an Intermediate Server Infrastructure Specialist, you will support implementation, deployment, and daily operations across Peel Regional Police's information technology environment. You will work with senior team members and cross-functional teams, including IT operations, security, and development. The position emphasizes secure, compliant, reliable virtualized and cloud-based systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy Windows, Exchange, Linux, and Azure server infrastructure solutions
- Monitor systems, troubleshoot incidents, and resolve infrastructure problems
- Manage backups, disaster recovery, patching, and system updates
- Support security controls, audits, assessments, and vulnerability monitoring
- Maintain configurations, procedures, troubleshooting guides, and best practices
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in computer science, engineering, information technology, or related field
- Three years implementing and maintaining Microsoft Windows and Exchange Servers
- One year working with Azure, VMware vSphere, networking, storage, and security
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, or similar automation tools
- Valid Ontario Class G driver's licence with full privileges
