Senior Construction Procurement Buyer in Edmonton

Lead construction procurement in Edmonton with supplier negotiation and project delivery expertise. Support a two-year contract with PCL Construction Management Inc. As Senior Buyer, you will lead purchasing for materials, equipment, assets, and services supporting Edmonton Buildings projects. Your work includes sourcing suppliers, managing bids, negotiating commercial terms, and coordinating deliveries. You will interpret plans and specifications while supporting project schedules, risk management, and construction sequencing. Key Responsibilities:

Execute daily procurement using cost-effective approaches and company procedures Source suppliers against price, quality, safety, and delivery requirements Administer RFQs, bid reviews, conditioning, awards, and negotiations Create and manage purchase orders, leases, rentals, and service agreements Coordinate deliveries, expediting, discrepancies, claims, returns, and invoices Requirements:

Minimum five years of progressive procurement, supply chain, or buying experience Postsecondary supply chain, business, logistics, or construction education preferred Large-scale industrial, commercial, or infrastructure project experience strongly preferred Strong construction knowledge, commercial judgment, negotiation, and financial decision-making Advanced Microsoft Excel, Microsoft 365, procurement systems, and reporting tools literacy Apply your procurement leadership, supplier management, and construction knowledge to support successful project execution with PCL.
