About the Role

We're looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to support its financial operations by maintaining accurate records, managing day-to-day accounting activities and preparing reliable financial reports.

In this role, you’ll work closely with the Finance team to support budgeting, cash flow management, tax compliance, and audit readiness.

The ideal candidate takes ownership of their work, communicates proactively and can manage accounting responsibilities independently while collaborating with stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Record Management
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records and ensure transactions are properly documented.
  • Reconcile accounts regularly and investigate discrepancies to maintain the accuracy of financial data.
  • Ensure financial records reflect the company’s actual financial position.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Analyze financial data and highlight trends, discrepancies, and insights that support business decisions.
  • Maintain organized financial documentation and deliver reports within established deadlines.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable
  • Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payment processing, and outstanding balance follow-ups.
  • Monitor incoming and outgoing payments to support healthy cash flow.
  • Resolve billing discrepancies and coordinate with relevant stakeholders as needed.
  • Budgeting & Financial Planning
  • Support the Finance team with budget preparation and ongoing budget monitoring.
  • Track expenses against budgets and flag variances or potential financial concerns.
  • Assist with financial planning by providing accurate and timely data.
  • Tax Compliance & Audit Readiness
  • Support tax return preparation and filing in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax requirements, and reporting obligations.
  • Keep financial documentation and internal controls organized and audit-ready.
  • Required Experience & Skills
  • Proven experience in an accounting or finance role, with a strong understanding of full-cycle accounting.
  • Hands-on experience with account reconciliations, financial reporting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheet tools used in professional finance environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of GAAP and applicable tax and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial records and reports.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines without close supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills, including the ability to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Availability to overlap with North American business hours.
  • Typical Day

Your day may begin with reconciling recent transactions and reviewing outstanding invoices before moving into monthly close activities or financial reporting.

You’ll collaborate with the Finance team on budgets and expense questions, investigate discrepancies, and support tax and compliance requirements.

Throughout the day, you’ll document your work, communicate important updates, and ensure the company’s financial records remain accurate and up to date.
