The Advanced Technical Support Specialist retains frontline Technical Support Specialist responsibilities while adding software development, deployment, escalation, and Support engineering. You will troubleshoot controls, networking, communications, configurations, and field systems. The role supports customers, Software QA, Engineering, Quality, and Production through advanced testing and documented validation. Employees may be located in Canada or the United States.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own Salesforce cases, Talkdesk coverage, remote troubleshooting, and customer communication
- Escalate complex software, controls, networking, and deployment issues
- Design, test, deploy, and troubleshoot advanced MDT configurations
- Write and maintain support scripts, utilities, integrations, and automation
- Document solutions and transfer knowledge across the Support team
Requirements:
- Advanced troubleshooting across software, controls, networking, communications, and field systems
- Software development or coding capability
- Programming experience with C#, Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, or comparable technologies
- Knowledge of APIs, data formats, source control, and testing
- Availability for assigned nights, weekends, and holidays
