Manage end-to-end accounts payable processing at Sunoco LP, using invoice validation and payment expertise. This onsite opportunity supports U.S. and Canadian operations.
Reporting to the Supervisor of AP Processing, the Accounts Payable Analyst supports Finance Shared Services and the Purchase-to-Pay team. The work covers invoice processing, vendor support, payment execution, reconciliations, and compliance. The analyst also contributes to audits, month-end activities, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Validate, match, code, approve, and process supplier invoices
- Resolve discrepancies, duplicates, unmatched receipts, and approval delays
- Execute cheque, EFT, ACH, wire, and online payments
- Support accruals, reporting, reconciliations, audits, and SOX activities
- Improve processing through automation, standardization, and optimization
Requirements:
- Three or more years of progressive accounts payable experience
- Accounting, Finance, Business Administration degree or diploma
- Knowledge of end-to-end Procure-to-Pay processes
- Experience with ERP and automated invoice workflow systems
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel
