Deliver holistic Resident care through personal support, mobility assistance, and respectful communication as a casual Health Care Aide with Park Place. Work under Nurse direction.
This Health Care Aide supports Residents' personal, social, physical, spiritual, and recreational needs. You will follow individualized care plans while respecting Resident choice, autonomy, rights, and confidentiality. Duties include assisting daily living, monitoring changes, administering medications, recording information, and maintaining safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build therapeutic relationships with Residents and their families
- Encourage participation in social, physical, spiritual, and recreational activities
- Safely lift, transfer, position, and assist Residents with ambulation
- Advocate for Residents during interdisciplinary care planning
- Maintain clean, homelike, and safe care environments
Requirements:
- Recognized Health Care Aide certificate or equivalent
- Required registration with an applicable licensing body or HCA registry
- Respectful teamwork and collaboration with interdisciplinary colleagues
- Effective written and verbal English communication
- Ability to manage physical demands and stressful work situations
