Support patients at home with daily living assistance across Fort Frances, Emo, and Devlin, Ontario, using compassion and reliability. ParaMed seeks a Personal Support Worker for its home and community care team.
This full-time position supports patient independence in homes and community settings. You will assist with personal care, prepare meals, complete basic housekeeping, and provide companionship. A valid Personal Support Worker Certificate, driver license, vehicle access, and Vulnerable Sector Screen are required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with skin, hair, oral, bathing, toileting, and peri-care
- Support activities of daily living in patient homes
- Prepare nutritious meals, snacks, and special diets
- Complete basic housekeeping tasks for patients
- Provide companionship supporting patients' quality of life
Requirements:
- Valid Personal Support Worker Certificate
- Compassionate care when interacting with patients
- Reliability and flexibility
- Valid driver license and access to a vehicle
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Screen
