Lead financial strategies and accounting at the Paradigm Group of Companies as a Controller. This remote role directs financial data for impactful decisions and requires a keen analytical mindset.
The Controller position offers an opportunity to shape financial practices across the Paradigm Group, reporting to the VP Finance. You will oversee accounting, reporting, and cost accounting in construction and manufacturing sectors. The focus will be on monthly closes, audits, and maintaining accurate financial controls in a data-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own monthly close process with reconciliations and accruals
- Prepare management reporting packages for leadership
- Lead preparation of year-end financial statements
- Develop internal controls and month-end procedures
- Identify cost and margin improvement opportunities
Requirements:
- 5+ years in accounting with leadership experience
- Hands-on experience in construction or manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and advanced Excel skills
- CPA designation is an asset
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems
