As an HR Generalist, you will support day-to-day HR activities, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations while acting as a liaison between employees and management. Your expertise in performance management, health and safety coordination, and payroll support will enhance the employee experience and operational efficiency in the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as main point of contact for employee HR inquiries
- Guide supervisors on performance and attendance management
- Coordinate full-cycle recruitment for manufacturing roles
- Monitor compliance with employment legislation and safety standards
- Track training completion, attendance, and employee metrics
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or related field
- 3–5 years of HR Generalist experience in manufacturing
- Knowledge of Ontario employment legislation
- Experience with hourly and shift-based workforces
- CHRP designation is an asset
