Key Responsibilities
- Conduct proactive foot and vehicle patrols throughout Newnham's extensive facilities, academic buildings, residence, and student spaces.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and medical emergencies with confidence and care.
- Provide excellent customer service and information to students, visitors, and faculty.
- Monitor access, enforce campus policies, and assist with crowd management during events.
- Prepare thorough incident reports and assist with investigations.
- Engage with Toronto Police, Fire, EMS, and campus partners as needed.
Qualifications
- Legally Authorized to Work in Canada.
- WSIB Approved Standard First Aid and CPR Level C.
- Strong communication skills and an upbeat, professional attitude.
- Ability to handle fast-paced, diverse campus demands.
- Prior post-secondary or healthcare security experience an asset.
- Bilingual/multilingual skills are a plus.
- Must not be a current Seneca student at Newnham.
- Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB).
- Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB certification program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position.
