Site Overview: Located in Ashcroft, BC, this client site offers a community-focused working environment. As a key member of our team, you will help maintain a safe, welcoming, and secure environment for employees, visitors, and members of the public.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Conduct regular foot patrols of the property to maintain safety and deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials, and welcome staff and visitors.
- Respond promptly to safety concerns, incidents, and calls for assistance.
- Write clear, detailed daily reports and document any incidents during your shift.
- Provide customer service and assist visitors with directions and basic inquiries.
Must Haves:
- Valid British Columbia Security Worker License.
- Valid Occupational First Aid (OFA) Level 1 certification.
- Clear written and spoken English communication skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during patrols.
- Legal entitlement to work in Canada.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Previous experience in security, customer service, or hospitality.
- Valid BC driver's license.
