Kingfisher Wilderness Adventures seeks Assistant Overnight Guides for its 2027 season. You will assist base camp kayak tours and lead or assist expedition tours. The work combines guest orientation, kayaking instruction, natural history interpretation, camp operations, and trip preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist base camp and expedition kayak tours
- Orient guests before trips and teach kayaking skills
- Share local natural and cultural history
- Prepare meals and maintain safe, clean campsites
- Pack supplies and maintain kayak equipment
Requirements:
- SKGABC Assistant Overnight Guide certification or equivalent
- Advanced Wilderness First Aid certification
- ROC-M and valid driver's licence
- Natural history interpretation and culinary skills
- Fitness to carry kayaks and perform cold-water rescues
