Optimize artificial lift systems with Ovintiv as an Artificial Lift Technician supporting Canadian Assets Optimization operations. Apply specialized field expertise across rotational assignments. This production-focused technician supports artificial lift optimization, complex well interventions, and production restoration beyond routine field operations. You will collaborate with COA Lift Techs, Engineering, the Operations Control Centre, and field operators. The position can be based in Dawson Creek or Grande Prairie.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform plunger lift and gas lift optimization
- Complete specialized well interventions and production restoration work
- Install, inspect, and monitor new plunger systems
- Troubleshoot, service, and maintain arrival sensors
- Operate echo meters for diagnostics and plunger tracking
Requirements:
- Minimum two years of artificial lift or well intervention experience
- Strong knowledge of safety requirements and practices
- General knowledge of oil and gas production operations
- Safe operation knowledge for related field equipment
- Valid driver's license and rotational schedule availability
