Our nearly 150 schools offer a wide range of programs to promote learning excellence and meet the individual needs of students, parents, and the community at large. Our schools are teaching communities where principals, vice-principals, teachers and support staff nurture student well-being and challenge students to achieve their best.
We are seeking creative, dynamic, and committed teachers to join our team at Crystal Bay School. Crystal Bay Centre for Special Education is located in the Ottawa Area and serves 96 students with moderate to profound developmental disabilities. Students attend up to the age of 21 years. All of our students have a developmental disability that may be coupled with one of the following: autism, hearing impairment or deafness, visual impairment or blindness, or physical disability. Crystal Bay students require individual, specialized academic programming. For some, programming also requires the services of trained medical personnel, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and/or speech and language pathologists.
Ideal candidates will support the fulfillment of the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board’s (OCDSB) Strategic Plan to enhance the quality of education in the school, and the District, by creating a positive and inclusive school climate, learning and workplace environment.
