Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this clerk provides financial and administrative support at Optimum Insurance Company. The work serves brokers, insureds, and internal stakeholders across Canada. Accuracy, customer service, communication, and Microsoft Excel and Outlook proficiency are central to daily account operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process incoming payments and prepare bank deposits
- Apply PAC and Direct Bill policy payments
- Process banking, withdrawal date, and billing changes
- Manage NSF payments and required account follow-up
- Respond to broker, insured, and underwriting inquiries
Requirements:
- Mandatory bilingual French and English proficiency
- Post-secondary accounting, business, finance, or equivalent experience
- Accounts receivable, accounting, insurance, or administrative experience considered an asset
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly Excel and Outlook
