Key responsibilities:
- Host over-the-phone client meetings to understand their financial goals and needs.
- Present and recommend tailored investment solutions that align with individual client objectives.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis and investment due diligence to support portfolio management decisions.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients as their dedicated financial advisor and portfolio manager.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a holistic approach to client wealth management.
- Contribute to the growth and success of the firm through commitment to client service excellence and business development initiatives.
Qualifications
- Completion of the Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) designation and/or CFA Level 1.
- Licensed as a Portfolio Manager for discretionary or managed accounts with a CIRO-regulated investment dealer.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in the financial industry with extensive exposure to financial analysis or investment due diligence.
- Excellent interpersonal and sales skills, both in person and via telephone.
- Highly determined, goal-oriented, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Passionate about building a long-term career as a trusted financial advisor and portfolio manager.
- French language proficiency is an asset.
