The Senior Java/React Full stack Lead Programmer Analyst is a senior technical role responsible for leading application development initiatives and driving design decisions across systems. This is a 3 days Hybrid in Mississauga. It's a 6 months contract to hire role.
Responsibilities:
- Understanding the requirements from the user
- Self-motivated
- Attitude to take it to the end along with the technical skills listed in the qualifications
- Mentoring junior level developers, not managing them
- Working with junior developers to explain, assign code and review, guiding them to do the right coding
- Looking for Developers, not Architects
- React focused, if they know React they can switch to Angular. Have to be proficient in React.
- Fundamentals of how the structure works, how can they do the programming efficiently
- API integration
- Understanding of Java framework, what is written - as long as they are able to integrate APIs - review and understand code to integrate it (understand Core Java, but not extensive)
- Java, Spring Boot, Angular (having React they can pick up Angular), and microservices from the integration aspect
Qualifications:
- 7–10+ years of experience in application development
- Advanced expertise in Java, Spring Boot, React/Angular, and microservices architecture
- Strong experience with API design, SQL, and distributed systems
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms (preferred), and DevOps practices
- Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Required Skills:
- Advanced expertise in Java, Spring Boot, React, and microservices architecture
