The Senior Java Developer is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team.
The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.
Qualifications
- 8-12 years of hands‑on experience in Java backend development and Python, Django and/or related Python frameworks and libraries.
- Proficiency with frameworks such as Spring Boot.
- Ability to implement high throughput, low‑latency, extremely reliable frameworks.
- Deep understanding of Java technology such as garbage collection internals, dependency injection, annotations, threading model, and synchronization primitives.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with database technologies such as Mongo DB.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, Azure and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with message brokers such as Kafka.
- Knowledge of Dev Ops practices and CI/CD pipelines.
