Lead protection and control operations with Ontario Power Generation in Kapuskasing, applying electrical systems expertise and technical supervision. Day shifts include 25% travel. As Senior Protection and Control Supervisor, you will direct installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting for electrical systems. You will plan work, supervise staff, and provide technical leadership on complex installations and operating issues. The position supports commissioning, maintenance, modification, and operation activities. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and adjust Unit work programs Supervise staff and coordinate daily work activities Monitor costs and analyze program variances Coordinate technical, labour, material, and scheduling requirements Prepare documentation, estimates, specifications, and work orders Requirements:
Four-year Electrical Engineering or related university degree At least six years of relevant systems experience Knowledge of protection, control, metering, and electrical equipment Experience designing, commissioning, operating, and maintaining systems Demonstrated supervisory or team-lead experience Apply electrical engineering, supervisory leadership, and protection expertise to support OPG systems and operations in Kapuskasing.
