As a Building Operator, you will work with Property Managers, contractors, and staff to maintain buildings, suites, and common areas. Your work will include HVAC systems, building subsystems, automation controls, and mechanical troubleshooting. You will also support tenant service requests, inspections, and project coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building HVAC systems
- Operate and troubleshoot building subsystems, controls, and life safety equipment
- Coordinate trades and review tenant service requests
- Complete inspections, quality checklists, photos, and deficiency signoffs
- Assist with tenant improvement and capital expenditure projects
Requirements:
- Previous commercial building systems experience with boilers, chillers, DDC, and pumps
- Three or more years managing commercial, retail, office, or industrial systems
- Fourth or Fifth Class Power Engineer or Operator certification preferred
- Automation systems and mechanical troubleshooting experience
- Class 5 licence, reliable vehicle, communication skills, and on-call availability
