Ground logistics expertise and customer service drive this hybrid Logistics Specialist position with Omnitrans in Montreal or Toronto. Coordinate transportation across North America.
As part of Omnitrans, a Fastfrate Group Company, you will coordinate ground logistics traffic and final-mile ocean and air shipments. The work covers LTL, FTL, LCL, FCL, drayage, warehousing, and carrier coordination. You will support customers, vendors, and internal divisions while maintaining shipment information and service timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive orders and confirm shipment details with stakeholders
- Schedule pickups and delivery appointments with carriers
- Negotiate rates and book freight using Load Link and DAT
- Trace shipments and update clients and systems
- Verify bills, charges, and proof of delivery
Requirements:
- Completion of CEGEP or equivalent
- Three to five years of ground logistics experience
- Experience in a load brokerage environment
- Knowledge of North American geography
- French and English communication skills
