This Chef de Cuisine leads and motivates the culinary team while upholding culinary excellence. The position oversees kitchen operations, menu development, financial performance, and collaboration with Front of House leadership. It also supports recruitment, training, coaching, and performance management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate the culinary vision and lead by example
- Oversee kitchen execution, organization, cleanliness, and daily operations
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and food and labour costs
- Develop menus reflecting culinary standards and guest satisfaction
- Lead recruitment, training, coaching, and performance management
Requirements:
- Proven culinary leadership in comparable catering or similar environments
- Post-secondary Culinary Arts Management or related education
- Strong business, financial, organizational, and time management skills
- Human resources management experience including recruitment and performance management
- Availability evenings, weekends, holidays; legally eligible to work in Canada
